Life is a continuous journey of growth and transformation. At times, we encounter pivotal moments that can shift our direction and reveal our true selves. These turning points can be transformative, helping us tap into our potential. In this post, we’ll dive into how to identify your turning point, explore essential questions, embrace moments of awakening, navigate the complexities of change, and cherish the importance of your questions.
Finding Your Turning Point
There comes a moment—a flicker in time—when something deep inside us whispers, “This isn’t it.”Not a loud cry. Not always a breakdown. Just a question. Quiet. Persistent. Unavoidable.
“Am I meant to do more?” “Is this really my path?” “Who am I… really?”
These questions can echo for years before we allow ourselves to listen. We feel the unease, the sadness, the disconnection—but we keep moving, doing what is expected. Following the script. Getting the good job. Playing our part. Smiling when we’re supposed to. All while something sacred inside us waits patiently to be acknowledged.
For much of my life, I lived according to that external rhythm. I did what I was told was “right.” I followed the path others said would lead to security and success. But inside, the ground was shifting. The deeper part of me—the soul part—was asking for more. And for a long time, I ignored it.
But here's the truth: those quiet questions are sacred. They are not signs of confusion or failure. They are invitations. They are the first step toward coming home.
Recognising the Questions
The turning point doesn’t always come like a bolt of lightning. For many, it grows slowly—through discomfort, restlessness, or a quiet sense of not belonging to the life they’ve built. For me, the questions had been there all along. I just didn’t know I was allowed to ask them.
You may already be hearing them. You may feel:
A longing you can’t name.
A sadness with no clear source.
A subtle, constant sense that you're meant for something else.
These feelings aren’t weaknesses. They’re the beginning of wisdom.
The Moment of Awakening
When the realisation finally came, it happened both gradually and all at once. Years of silent questioning softened me. And then—suddenly—I saw it:
I needed to create. A life in alignment with who I truly am. A path that honoured my values, my love for teaching, my connection to spirit, my role as a father, partner, and guide.
In that moment, I wasn’t escaping. I was choosing. I stepped away from the noise of expectation and began the sacred work of building a reality that felt like mine.

The Spiral
Our journeys aren’t linear. They spiral. We move upward and inward, backward and forward, again and again. Some days we feel strong and clear. Others, we fall back into doubt or fear. That is not failure—that is the dance of growth.
Every step, every breath, every question is part of the unfolding.
Your Questions Are Sacred
If you are feeling lost, tired, unsure—start with the question:
What is my soul asking for?
Don’t rush to answer. Just listen.Let the question take root in silence. Let it guide you.
And when the moment comes—when you realise you need to create something different, something true—trust that moment. It might feel terrifying. It might feel like leaping into the unknown. But it could also be the moment your real life begins.
Your Path Forward
Discovering your turning point is a unique journey that involves self-reflection, awareness, and acceptance of your current situation. By recognizing the importance of your questions and celebrating moments of awakening, you open yourself to exploring new avenues in life. Remember that the journey itself counts just as much as the destination. Through every spiral of growth, you connect more with your authentic self.
Should you find yourself at a crossroads, stay hopeful. The answers you seek often lie within the questions you raise. Embrace this turning point, and allow your journey to unfold with intention and grace.

Whether you are experiencing change, seeking deeper understanding, or yearning for transformation, your turning point is ready to be discovered. Approach each question with openness and curiosity, and watch as your life unfolds in enriching and unexpected ways.
