A brief history of Chameleon Yoga
My name is Peter and I started Chameleon Yoga studio with the aim of providing people a more natural environment to practice yoga. I started teaching yoga in 2020, mostly online and for a while in the back of a climbing gym. This then evolved when I purchased a bell tent in 2021, set it up in the middle of a field in Norfolk and started building the natural space I dreamed of. This then expanded further when I was gifted a Mongolian Yurt and built an outdoor dining space.
Unfortunately, after two years of hard work, I was asked to move the business over the winter of 2023. During the move I lost the outdoor dining area I had spent months landscaping, the bell tent got flooded and the yurt had to be put up during the wettest winter I can remember.
Now I am at a point where I need to repair and expand the space so I can get back to offering retreat days, more classes, outdoor dining and potentially raw chocolate workshops. And that's where you lovely people come in.
I am asking for any donations you can afford, to help rebuild this dream and bring our students the most immersive and natural experience I can. We need to build a deck to get the yurt floor off the ground, which will help prevent any further damage from damp. We need to build new pathways, improve the toilet facility and build new raised paths to the studio. In the future people will be able to connect with nature and each other through the practice of yoga. The environment will be even more nurturing and peaceful, allowing individuals to find inner peace and balance. With your help, we can create a world where yoga is accessible to all and practiced in a sustainable and harmonious way.
